Age Limit: The maximum age limit for both Technician-1 posts is 28 years.
Age Relaxation:
- OBC – 3 Years
- SC / ST – 5 Years
- PwBD – 10 Years

CSIR NPL Technician 2026 Educational Qualification:
Technician-1
- Qualification: SSC / 10th standard with Science subjects with minimum 55% marks plus ITI certificate or national/state trade certificate in the relevant trade.
CSIR NPL Technician 2026 Selection Process:
The selection on the basis of following steps:-
- Trade Test (Qualifying in nature)
- Competitive Written Examination (Final Merit List based on Marks)
- Document Verification & Medical Examination
CSIR NPL Technician 2026 Application Fee:
- Rs. 500/- for General, OBC, and EWS candidates.
- Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and regular CSIR Employees are exempted from payment of fee.
