TGPSC Assistant Environmental Engineer 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit (as on 01/07/2026): Minimum 18 years and Maximum 44 years. Candidates must not have been born after 01/07/2008 (for minimum age) and not before 02/07/1982 (for maximum age).
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/BCs & EWS; 10 years for Physically Handicapped; Up to 5 years for Telangana State Government Employees (based on length of regular service); 3 years + length of service for Ex-Servicemen; 3 years + length of service for NCC Instructors.
TGPSC Assistant Environmental Engineer 2026 Educational Qualification:
- Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Chemical / Bio-Technology / Mining / Environment Engineering from a recognised University in India, or qualified in Sec. A & B of AMIE(India) Civil Examination; OR B.Tech/B.E in any branch with PG Degree in Environmental Engineering from a recognised University in India.
TGPSC Assistant Environmental Engineer 2026 Selection Process:
The selection will be made on the basis of the following steps:
- Written Examination (Objective Type) – Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) or OMR Based
- Final merit list prepared based on marks secured in examination (normalized scores for multi-session CBRT)
- Medical Examination (post-selection; appointment subject to medical fitness)
TGPSC Assistant Environmental Engineer 2026 Application Fee:
- Application Processing Fee: ₹1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) for OC & BC applicants; ₹500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for SC, ST and PwD applicants.
- Examination Fee: ₹120/- (Rupees One Hundred and Twenty only) for all employed candidates. All unemployed applicants are exempted from payment of examination fee.

➢ Step 1: Visit the official TGPSC website (https://www.tgpsc.gov.in). If not already registered, complete One Time Registration (OTR) to obtain your TGPSC ID. If already registered, proceed directly with your existing TGPSC ID.
➢ Step 2: Click on the Online Application Link on the website, enter your TGPSC ID and Date of Birth, and login using the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
➢ Step 3: Verify your personal details fetched from OTR (Name, DOB, Qualifications, Community, Gender, Disability status, etc.), select the examination centre, and fill in all relevant columns of the application form carefully.
➢ Step 4: Preview the application thoroughly for correctness and click on the SAVE & PAYMENT button to proceed.
➢ Step 5: Pay the prescribed application processing fee and examination fee (if applicable) online through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI, then download the generated PDF application form and note the Reference ID for future correspondence.
