Educational Qualification:
Deputy Educational Officers / Gazetted Head Master Grade-I – Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from any University recognized by the University Grants Commission with the subjects eligible for admission into B.Ed. Course; AND Must possess a Post Graduate Degree with not less than 55% of marks from any University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

- Written Examination (Objective Type) – CBRT (Computer Based Recruitment Test) / OMR Based
- Selection based on marks secured in the Written Examination
- Qualifying Marks: OC, Sports Persons & EWS – not less than 40%; BCs – not less than 35%; SCs, STs & PHs – not less than 30%
- Final merit list prepared based on normalized scores (for multi-session CBRT)
