ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, has released the notification for the IARI Recruitment 2026.
This recruitment drive will be conducted to fill 3 vacancies for Young Professional II and Field Assistant posts on a purely temporary and contractual basis at the Division of Environmental Sciences, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi.

IARI 2026 Age Limit:

IARI 2026 Educational Qualification:
Young Professional 2 (Rs. 42,000 pm)
- Qualification: First class Master’s degree with specialization in Environmental Sciences / Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry / Agricultural Chemistry (with thesis work).
- Experience: Desirable experience in sampling and analysis of soil and air samples, handling instruments like GC, GC-MS, spectrophotometer, scientific literature review, good scientific writing skills, and data curation/analysis in MS Excel.
Field Assistant (Rs. 22,000 pm)
- Qualification: 10th pass.
- Experience: Experience of working in agricultural fields and data entry in MS Excel. Desirable experience in soil and GHG sampling, soil sample processing, and GHG data entry.
Field Assistant (Rs. 20,191 pm)
- Qualification: 10th pass.
- Experience: Experience of working in agricultural fields and data entry in MS Excel. Desirable experience in soil sample collection and processing.

The selection on the basis of following steps:-
- Screening of submitted applications and documents.
- Online Interview (for shortlisted candidates).
- Document Verification at the time of appointment.
